Train2Game news: Eutechnyx joins TIGA

Train2Game’s independent awarding and examination body, and representative association of the UK games industry, TIGA, has announced Gateshead based studio Eutechnyx as its newest member.

Train2Game interviewed Eutechnyx Lead Programmer at The EuroGamer Expo, you can watch the video here on The Train2Game Blog.

Eutechnyx have been developing video games for almost 25 years, with headquarters in the UK as well as studios in Hong Kong, Chengdu, and Charlotte. As reported by The Train2Game Blog, Eutechnyx are set to open a new office in London to support the launch of their upcoming release Auto Club Revolution.

“As a leading independent developer for the last 25 years, we understand the importance of a vibrant and competitive UK industry.” said Eutechnyx CEO Brian Jobling.

“As Eutechnyx transitions with the industry to take advantage of direct-to-consumer markets we think it’s more important than ever to share experiences with our peers. TIGA is a key body which represents the interest of companies like ours and we’re pleased to be a part.”

TIGA CEO Dr. Richard Wilson, who appeared at last November’s Train2Game & Epic Game Jam, welcome Eutechnyx’s decision to join the organisation.

“Eutechnyx is a world renowned independent developer with a fantastic reputation for creating exhilarating and highly enjoyable games. The company brings to TIGA its vast industry expertise and experience as a successful independent development studio.” said Dr. Wilson.

“We are extremely proud to have Eutechnyx as a TIGA member and look forward to working closely together in the future.” he added.

Industry Gamers named Eutechnyx one of seven UK studios to keep an eye on in a feature last November, which you can find out more about here on The Train2Game Blog.
