Initial Thoughts

From first glance, the book was published in 2001 and does not appear to have been updated since then.  Given how quickly things develop in IT and the gaming industry, and particularly when it comes to the use of increasingly realistic physics used in gaming, this is very surprising.  In my opinion this is most likely due to the book being not particularly good, therefore there’s no demand for further updates.
