Aw​ard-winning developer and publisher of digital entertainment, Telltale Games, along with Marvel Entertainment, today shared the world-first screenshots and cast details for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, set to premiere digitally this Spring on consoles, PC, and mobile devices. 
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series is a brand new story of the universe’s unlikeliest heroes: Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot. In the wake of an epic battle, the Guardians discover an artifact of unspeakable power. Each of them has a reason to desire this relic, as does a ruthless enemy who is the last of her kind, and who will stop at nothing to tear it from their hands.

From Earth to the Milano to Knowhere and beyond, and set to the beat of awesome music, you wear the rocket-powered boots of Star-Lord in an original Guardians adventure, where your decisions and actions drive the story you experience.

This week at PAX East in Boston, MA on March 10th at 6pm in the Albatross Theater, join the team from Telltale Games as well as Marvel Games Creative Director, Bill Rosemann, to hear more about the series as they discuss the creative process behind this stellar new adventure. The panel will also be streamed live on Twitch.

The series will feature a star-studded cast of voice talent, including Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights, The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series) as Star-Lord, Emily O’Brien (The Young and the Restless, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor) as Gamora, Nolan North (the Uncharted series, Pretty Little Liars) as Rocket, Brandon Paul Eells (Watch Dogs) as Drax, and Adam Harrington (The Wolf Among Us, League of Legends) as Groot. 

Premiering this Spring, the series will also be coming to retail as a special season pass disc, which will include the first episode in the season, and will grant access to the subsequent four episodes as they become available for download via online updates. Specific platform details are yet to be announced.

Train2Game News Walking Dead third Telltale game announced

​Fellow Survivors, the premiere date and new key art for The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier, the third season in the critically-acclaimed series was announced yesterday.
The first of five episodes in The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series – A New Frontier will premiere digitally worldwide starting Tuesday December 20th on PC from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services, on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One® and Xbox 360®, and on the PlayStation®Network for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The episode will be available the same day for compatible iOS devices via the App Store, and for compatible Android-based devices via Google Play. 

Beginning February 7th, the series will also be available for purchase on a special ‘Season Pass Disc’ for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, which will include the premiere episode for the third season, as well as access to all subsequent episodes in the five episode season for download as they become available. 

PlayStation 4 users can preorder the digital version by visiting the product page on the digital store. As a special bonus, PS4 digital preorders also receive a complementary copy of The Walking Dead: Season Two and The Walking Dead: Michonne.

Steam users can preorder the season by visiting the product page on Steam, with a savings of 10% for preordering.

BATMAN – The Telltale Series Episode One: Realm of Shadows makes its worldwide debut digitally today on PC from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services; on the PlayStation®Network for PlayStation 4; and on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One®. BATMAN – The Telltale Series  will be making its worldwide debut as a digital download with its first episode in August on consoles, PC/Mac, and iOS or Android based devices. Telltale Games, with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment, today announced an interactive episodic game series based on DC Comics’ iconic Batman™ that is set to premiere in 2016.

The official title for the Telltale series is yet to be revealed.

The episodic game series will premiere digitally on home consoles, PC/Mac, and mobile devices. Specific platform details are yet to be announced.

Leading and award-winning developer and publisher of digital entertainment Telltale Games, and world-renowned game developer Mojang, today released the world premiere episode for  Minecraft: Story Mode – A Telltale Games Series.

Episode 1: ‘The Order of the Stone,’ the first of five episodes in the season, is available digitally worldwide today on PC and Mac from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services, on the PlayStation®Network for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, and on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One® and Xbox 360®. The season premiere will be available for compatible iOS devices via the App Store and for compatible Android-based devices via Google Play and the Amazon Appstore starting this Thursday, October 15th. The series will also be coming to Wii U and PlayStation Vita.

Minecraft: Story Mode – A Telltale Games Series  season pass disc will be available at retail in North America on Tuesday, October 27th, and in Europe onFriday, October 30th. Retail platforms at launch will include Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 in North America; and PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 in Europe. The retail edition of  Minecraft: Story Mode will ship with the premiere episode on the disc, and will grant access to the subsequent four episodes in the season as they become available to download via online updates.

In  Minecraft: Story Mode , playing as either a male or female hero named ‘Jesse,’ you’ll embark on a perilous adventure across the Overworld, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond. You and your friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect; slayers of the Ender Dragon. While at EnderCon in hopes of meeting Gabriel the Warrior, Jesse’s friends discover that something is wrong… something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and you must set out on a quest to find The Order of the Stone if you are to save your world from oblivion.

The season will feature  Patton Oswalt as male Jesse,  Catherine Taber as female Jesse,  Brian Posehn, Ashley Johnson, Scott Porter, Martha Plimpton, Dave Fennoy, Corey Feldman, Billy West, John Hodgman, and  Paul Reubens. The launch trailer features behind the scenes interviews with the cast about the all-new series.

Minecraft: Story Mode – A Telltale Games Series – Episode 1: ‘The Order of the Stone’  is rated ‘E10+’ (Everyone 10+) for Fantasy Violence and Mild Language by the ESRB. Future content in the season is yet to be rated by the ESRB.

The series is published by Telltale Games in partnership with Mojang.

Episodic story wranglers Telltale have a new CEO, and he’s revealed some interesting information in his inaugural statement.

Not content with their current series The Wolf Among Us, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Tales from the Borderlands and soon Minecraft: Story Mode, new CEO Kevin Bruner has announced big things in the companies future.

In a statement to Gamesindustry.biz Mr Bruner said “We’re thrilled to continue our growth and bring our unique style of scripted entertainment to the next generation of digital media, and do that across thousands of different devices. Our top priority is to continue fostering an environment where the most talented and creative storytellers in the industry are working side by side with the world’s biggest creative partners. Telltale are fast becoming one of the staple companies in the games industry with their fantastic story telling and moral dilemmas

As 2014 comes to a close, Telltale are delighted to confirm the partnership with Mojang to create a new episodic game series based on one of the most popular video games in history – Minecraft.

Minecraft: Story Mode will be an all-new narrative-driven game series developed by Telltale in collaboration with Mojang. Set in the world of Minecraft, the series will feature an original story, driven by player choice. It will not be an add-on for Minecraft, but rather a separate stand-alone product that will premiere in 2015 on consoles, computers and mobile devices.

Telltale’s game series will mix new characters with familiar themes, in an entirely original Minecraft experience, inspired by the Minecraft community and the game that continues to inspire a generation.

2014 is Telltale’s tenth anniversary year; seeing in the climactic finales of the critically acclaimed and best-selling The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead: Season Two. With the recent premieres of both Game of Thrones and Tales from the Borderlands, their 2015 lineup will include the remainder of both of those new series, and now it will also include the premiere of Minecraft: Story Mode.
