Square Enix Ltd., today announced the launch of COLLECTION of SaGa FINAL FANTASY LEGEND™ on PC via STEAM®.
In this digital collection, players can experience the first three titles in the revered SaGa series: THE FINAL FANTASY LEGEND, FINAL FANTASY LEGEND II, and FINAL FANTASY LEGEND III. Previously released on Nintendo Switch™ and for mobile devices, the collection offers a fun and exciting adventure to newcomers and long-time SaGa fans alike.
COLLECTION of SaGa FINAL FANTASY LEGEND is a great introduction to the quintessential series created by Akitoshi Kawazu, and includes the very first title in the SaGa series, THE FINAL FANTASY LEGEND, which was originally released on Game Boy™ in 1990. Looking back at the long history of the beloved series, the “Father of FINAL FANTASY” Hironobu Sakaguchi states,
“When working on the originals, I didn’t think that the FINAL FANTASY series would be remastered almost 35 years later. The video game industry had only just been established. So, with nobody else leading the way, we had to keep moving forward at the front line. I remember how we went through a lot of trial and error at that time. I’m very happy and grateful that Final Fantasy has continued for such a long period of time.”
FINAL FANTASY Brand Manager and FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE Producer Yoshinori Kitase adds,
“Every time a new Final Fantasy title is released, I think there are those who want to return to the origin of the series. This project began because we wanted to create a convenient way for fans and new players to enjoy these original classics, with consistent graphics and a unified user interface.”
Further, in regard to the renowned soundtrack of the FINAL FANTASY series, series composer Nobuo Uematsu also confirmed,
“We are rearranging all the music tracks this time. One of the first ideas I had was to make sure to stay faithful to the originals, but of course I couldn’t just leave it in the original 3-tone sound, so they have been built up into full-scale tracks. I have made sure that the original atmosphere has been retained and each can be listened to as separate music pieces, so that fans can enjoy.”

SQUARE ENIX® is today launching a new programme with interactive livestreaming service, Twitch, to distribute a number of FINAL FANTASY® XIV Online in-game items.
From today until 24th August, FINAL FANTASY XIV Online players can get their hands on both the Heavenscracker in-game item and the Fat Black Chocobo in-game mount by making use of Twitch’s gift subscription service when select streamers are broadcasting their adventures in Eorzea.

Viewers that gift one subscription in participating channels will receive 100 of the in-game Deluxe Heavenscracker items, while gifting four total subscriptions will grant them the Fat Black Chocobo Whistle, used to summon the in-game mount of the same name. Gifted subscriptions can be distributed in one channel or multiple channels, and the items can be received only once per Twitch account.
Participating streamers must be broadcasting FINAL FANTASY XIV Online at the time the gifted subscription is given. If the gifted subscription is given outside of a FINAL FANTASY XIV Online broadcast, it will not count towards the program.

The recently announced fourth expansion pack of the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online saga, Endwalker, is scheduled to release 23rd November, 2021 for PC, Mac, the PlayStation®5 system, and the PlayStation®4 system. Endwalker is the culmination of the Hydaelyn and Zodiark story, in which Warriors of Light will encounter an even greater calamity than ever before, and will bring an abundance of new content, including multiple new jobs, an increased level cap, vast new areas, adjustments to the battle system, as well as a variety of new battle, crafter and gatherer content.
Square Enix Ltd., today announced that Legend of Mana™, the remastered edition of the fourth instalment in the Mana series is now available to play on modern consoles Nintendo Switch™ system, PlayStation®4 console and STEAM®.
In Legend of Mana, players will embark on a journey to find the mystical Mana Tree seen in a dream, only to discover that the world map is empty. Throughout their adventure, they will acquire special artifacts, which can be placed on the map to bring towns and dungeons to life via the unique Land Creation system. Players can also capture eggs and hatch pet monsters to help with battles, and progress through the story in different ways based on the choices they make, offering a more personal and unique gameplay experience.
Legend of Mana features remastered visuals and a rearrangement of selected songs from the beautiful soundtrack, including ‘Hometown of Domina’. Players will also be able alternate between the new and original soundtrack. The game also introduces the “Ring Ring Land” mini-game which will be available to the West for the first time. During their travels, players will encounter a colourful cast of characters, square off against fearsome monsters in real-time combat and explore the vast world of Fa’Diel, all while experiencing Legend of Mana’s timeless story.
Legend of Mana is now available digitally for £24.99 on the Nintendo Switch™ system, the PlayStation®4 console and PC (STEAM®). SQUARE ENIX® and Applibot, Inc. today announced that pre-registration for the North American, European and Korean version of NieR Re[in]carnation, the first mobile title in the NieR series, is now live in select regions*.
Bringing together an all-star team including creative director YOKO TARO, composer Keiichi Okabe from MONACA and producer Yosuke Saito, the Action Command RPG NieR Re[in]carnation tells the story of a girl who awakens in a mysterious place known as The Cage.
