Green Man Gaming yesterday presented GamesAid, a UK based video games charity, with a cheque for £30,163.33 at the London Games Festival at London’s iconic Somerset House.

The funds were raised by Green Man Gaming customers who purchased the GamesAid 50 bundle, which was created in partnership with GamesAid and sponsored by 18 leading game publishers to raise money for the industry charity. Released in August 2018, 100% of the proceeds raised from the sale of all 50 games in the GamesAid bundle were donated to GamesAid thanks to the support from game publishers and customers.

Customers that purchased the GamesAid 50 Game bundle received fifty PC games from hit indie titles such as Human Fall Flat and The Flame of the Flood to must-have big games including Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain, Batman Arkham Knight and Mount and Blade. Gamers saved over £500 (RRP) through this bundle.

The game publishers sponsoring the GamesAid 50 game bundle include Konami, Fatshark, New World Interactive, Rebellion, Green Man Gaming Publishing, Headup Games, Tripwire, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TaleWorlds Entertainment, Team 17, 11 bit studios, Curve Digital, 505 Games, Bethesda Softworks, Codemasters, Paradox Interactive, Double Eleven and Aspyr.

Train2Game News Green Man Gaming One Special Day 

Green Man Gaming, a global e-commerce technology company in the video games industry, has announced that the company are supporting  Special Effect by donating towards their One Special Day initiative today. 
The company will be partnering with developers taking part in the event by donating all the profit that they would earn from the sale of selected games to UK-based charity SpecialEffect.

Companies from across the video games industry will be donating 100% of today’s sales or profits of one or more games, advertising revenue, in-app purchases, DLC or income from a dedicated activity or promotion. All the proceeds will be channeled into the work that SpecialEffect do to help gamers with disabilities putting fun and inclusion into their lives by helping them play video games. The industry hopes to raise £25,000 for the charity.

The PC games that will be sold for the charity today include Stick it to The Man, Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones, Pure Pool, Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure and many more.

Green Man Gaming, a global e-commerce technology company in the video games industry, has today announced their participation in the Twin Town Challenge from 27 – 29 May 2016 in support of Special Effect, a charity enabling anyone with physical disability to enjoy video games, leisure technology and communication. 

The Green Man Gaming team aims to raise as much money as possible for the charity by offering its partners a chance to sponsor the team and donate directly through its donation page.

To help increase awareness of Special Effect and raise money for the charity, the Green Man Gaming team will be taking part in The Twin Town challenge which will see 100 cars costing less than £500 drive from Witney to its twin town of Le Touquet and back via Silverstone and Croix en Ternois.  Paul Sulyok, Founder and CEO and Callum Jay, CFO of Green Man Gaming will be representing the Green Man Gaming team.
